- RAM: 2 gigabyte (GB) for 1 DisplayLink display. 4 GB or more recommended for 2 or more DisplayLink displays - USB: At least one USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port. 30 megabytes (MB) of free disk space. Computer screen for use with the DisplayLink device, if it is not integrated. Network access for software downloads, or access to a CD-ROM drive.
- 1) Download the latest driver from DisplayLink.com for Mac OS or the in-built driver for Windows OS. 2) RESTART the Laptop once the drivers have been downloaded and installed to complete process. 3) Configure the monitor settings on your PC.
- DisplayLink software can be downloaded and installed from the DisplayLink website following the steps below. Select the 'DisplayLink Software Installer' to begin installation of the DisplayLink driver on your Mac. This will run a standard Mac installer and will require a reboot once it has completed Android.

Note: Do not physically connect the USB video adapter to your computer until instructed to (Step 7).
- Download the latest drivers from the StarTech.com website (http://www.startech.com/Support). You can find the part number and product ID on the product’s packaging.

- Double-click the DisplayLink.zip file.
- Double-click the MAC OS folder.
- Double-click the appropriate folder for your operating system.
- Double-click the DisplayLink Installer 75598.dmg file.
- Follow the prompts to install the new drivers. Restart the computer when prompted.
- Once Mac OS X has restarted, connect the USB video adapter to your computer.
